Efficiency map

We are a little bit confuse about the “Efficiency map”, what does CV load mean? Is there any details.

CV load means constant voltage load. The load voltage will be held constant regardless of the current. Efficiency map is a 3-dimensional graph — horizontal axes are machine speed, and machine torque; and the vertical axis is the efficiency. The third dimension is usually drawn as a contour graph, or a color density graph.
