When are teams supposed to send spec sheet? When will the teams get the information about the number of points they have been assigned to on the spec sheet?

Specifications sheet will have to be submitted at the final competition on-site. The final points will not be available until the end of the lab dynamometer evaluations.

Is it necessary to attach the type K temperature sensors to the circuit board or is it sufficient to solder the wires?

Temperature sensor should be mounted in a location to measure the hot-spot temperature, as determined by the team.

The temperature sensor needs to measure ‘close-enough’ to the hot-spot temperature as determined by the team — may be a location on the heat-sink, or the case.

The final presentation will be in the form of an elevator pitch, and the final report will be in the form of a specifications brochure.
