Input and output current specifications?

It was specified that the input current is limited to 12A RMS (0.1s average). It was also specified that the output current corresponding to 4V throttle signal should be 15A RMS. At high enough speeds those two requirements are contradictory. Which of them should take priority in such situations? (Efficiency map – CV load 36V – throttle 4V)

The input current limit would take precedence at high speeds, and will not be providing all the 15A rms current requested by the throttle.
