It has not been specified what’s supposed to happen in the fault mode. Should we turn the device off when the speed reaches 2500rpm or just prevent the device from working at speeds above 2500rpm? Should the speed limit always be enabled?
When the fault conditions are reached, the system will have to provide an indication should be made as required in the technical reference document item 14.E. How the system responds to the fault event would be up to the different teams.
