Drive cycle and range performance test?

With a selected output power as specified under 22.b.iii and the specified speed limit of 2500rpm there is a maximum output power (of the electronic load) which can be calculated as 2500rpm/3000rpm*40V*Iout. The throttle signal level defines the input power as Vbat*Idc. In cases where the second is larger the motor will accelerate until reaching the 2500rpm limit. The input current would then not be able to reach the reference defined by the throttle signal. Is this intended behaviour?

Based on our dynamometer tests on a prototype system, if the efficiency of the entire system is high enough, the input current may not reach the reference level. Otherwise it may. These will be the test conditions.
