Do we have the choice of using our own thermal sensor for obtaining overheat signal of inverter internally or will the signal be sensed through external output via connector only ?

In the most recent technical document, a thermal sensor connector has been mentioned along with a specification of 90-100 cm long wire.
Does it imply that there cannot be an onboard thermal sensor for temperature measurement for the inverter? Can you please provide more details!

Test procedure will require monitoring of the specified hot-spot temperature using the standard procedure in the technical document. You can use additional sensors for your internal control purposes.
