The back emf data given in page 5 of technical reference released on November 8 seems to be wrong. It says 37V vb Line to neutral . It should be Line ot Line . With 37V line to neutral , the Dc bus voltage should be much higher which is above the voltage limit set by the standards for electric vehicles. Please check this data.
We can meet these requirements by using a boost converter between battery and Dc bus of inverter. But as part of senior design we need to make the students to be aware of international standards and recommended upper limit of electric vehicles is 60V. Please check this.
The 37V back emf data is only indicative of the measurement results from the testing of the motor, and not intended for recommending maximum speed or back-emf value.
